SSF stands for Social Security Fund. It is a Public Fund that was established by the Government of Nepal with the intention of providing Social Security Benefits to Workers in the Formal Sector, including Retirement Pension, Medical Care, Maternity Benefits, etc.

Employer is first required to register the Existing Business or Company into the Module of SSF.
The Process of Applying for SSF as an Employer are as follows:
The First Step requires the Employer to Register the Name of Their Company or Organization in the Official Online Portal of the Social Security Fund, which can be accessed at https://ssf.gov.np.
Once your company is registered on the SSF online portal, you will need to submit an online application form. In the Form, the Relevant Details and Information about the Company must be filled up.
After submitting the online application form and fulfilling any other requirements set forth by the SSF authorities, you can expect to receive an SSF certificate within 2 Days.
After the Registration of the Employer into the Social Security Fund Mechanism, the Employees must be registered within 3 Months of validation.

Thereafter, they must Login through the Username, Password and the SSID conferred by the Organization. Thereafter, they must mention the relevant details of the Employees along with the Required Documents.
After completing the registration process and providing all required information, employees can anticipate receiving confirmation of their registration with the SSF.
The Cost for Registration of a Company into the Social Security Fund Mechanism is Free to this Date. However, if a relevant Service Provider is tasked with such Registration, then, they can charge the Relevant Amount.
